Puppy Sales Contract & Health Guarantee
Our full puppy sales contract covers the application and $600 non-refundable deposit, final payment, puppy release ages, transportation, one-year health guarantee, AKC Limited Registration, spay/neuter terms, buyer responsibilities, and lifetime return/rehoming policy.
Important: The signed contract for each puppy contains the complete terms of that sale.
Application & Deposit
Application first. Once approved and offered a puppy or waiting-list placement, a $600 non-refundable deposit is required and is applied to the puppy's purchase price.
Health Guarantee
One-year guarantee for qualifying life-threatening hereditary or congenital conditions, subject to the contract's 72-hour veterinary exam, written diagnosis, second-opinion, return, replacement, and exclusion provisions.
AKC & Companion Placement
Puppies are sold on AKC Limited Registration without breeding rights unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
Pickup & Travel
Minimum age is 8 weeks for approved in-person pickup and 10 weeks for air/Flight Nanny travel. Very tiny puppies may stay longer when needed for their safety. Dakota Heart Chihuahuas offers delivery and Flight Nanny service for an additional fee quoted by location.
